# 3. Temporary Floor Lines
Temporary lines would be standard yellow traffic paint. These could last a reasonable amount of time, depending upon how much the lift truck operators drive over or drag & drop the product on them.
# 4. Semi-Permanent Floor Lines
It should be extremely glossy alkyds or epoxy paint. It is long lasting. It is found that warehouse markings with high gloss alkyds last for around 4 – 5 year.
# 5. Permanent Floor Lines
Permanent lines would involve cleaning and preparing the floor surface by shot-blasting the floor first. The blasted areas are sealed first with a clear epoxy then painted with safety yellow polyurethane. The urethane will permanently bond with the epoxy making it extremely difficult to remove.
